Client: | St James |
Contract Duration: | 18 months |
We have carried out the extensive refurbishment of the roof structure, wall panelling (some of which had to be re-built by hand on site), windows and flooring at this Grade 1 listed building which was originally designed in 1712.
We have also supplied and installed high quality 2nd fix carpentry items including panelled doors with polished nickel ironmongery, softwood skirting, dado and picture rail mouldings and new panelling to replicate existing designs.
This Grade I listed property has been meticulously refurbished into 24 luxury, spacious one, two and three bedroom apartments and houses. The property has been lovingly restored and many original features have been retained including high ceilings, ornate coving, paneled walls, full height windows, staircases and fireplaces. We have had to work closely with both St James, the architect and the historians that they have brought in, to retain the beauty and originality of the building.
