The Collective, Old Oak

The Collective, Old Oak is the world’s largest co-living building, consisting of 550 micro units and communal spaces including a bar, restaurant, spa, gym etc.

The concept of co-living is that it is tailored to suit the changing lifestyles of young people living and working in London, allowing them their own space whilst sharing a number of communal areas.

The building takes the form of two slim volumes sliding across one another on a central core.

The challenge for Rainsford was  to provide the supply and fix of the doors, linings, architraves, skirtings, ironmongery and blinds within a very tight timescale.
