Long & Waterson Apartments, Long Street, Shoreditch

Rainsford were delighted to be involved in Aecom’s first ever construction project.  The £40m development of 119 new loft style apartments over 10 storeys, in a conservation area of Shoreditch, included the construction of a new courtyard block and the conversion of two 1960’s office blocks to high end residential apartments.

Rainsford’s works included high quality walnut veneered bathrooms, ensuites and wc furniture including mirrors, curved glass and oak reception screen and desk, a curved spiral staircase from the basement to ground floor, stainless steel postboxes in oak cladding, high quality oak changing room lockers with digital locks, oak panelling and staging to the cinema room, dark walnut veneered front door entrance doors with leather bound lever handles, internal painted doors and ironmongery and the changing rooms and treatment oak vanity units and mirrors.
