Barclays Bank HQ – Churchill Place, Canary Wharf

Commissioned directly by Barclays Bank to refurbish level 13 of their headquarters building, One Churchill Place, Canary Wharf.

The brief was to create a more contemporary working environment moving away from a standard floor layout. This was achieved by providing fewer desks, but creating flexible breakout and meeting spaces utilising feature joinery, feature glazing and new lighting, all of which contributed to enhancing the space.
The project was carried out in two phases with our client occupying one half of the floor while we worked on the other half. We co-ordinated a weekend hand over to ensure that Barclays could leave their half of the floor on a Friday, and commence work in the new half on Monday morning without incurring any disruption to their business.

The element of this project that has really stood out is the quality of the install; the joinery, glazing, kitchen areas, storage units, floor finishes and decoration have all contributed to giving the space the wow factor.
