Redevelopment of former Barratt’s Confectionery manufacturing building, known as The Chocolate Factory, into modern and contemporary commercial office space. Over 80 commercial units have been created over 5 floors, including a reception and coffee shop on the ground floor. The Factory spans two main buildings, one overlooking Alexandra Palace, with a link bridge between the two former factory buildings. The former factory building benefits from extra-large windows providing light and inviting workspace areas for the local business community in Wood Green, North London.
Rainsford worked with main contractor and fit-out specialists, Interior Motives International, to transform the Chocolate Factory, on behalf of flexible office space provider, Workspace Group plc.
We delivered specific carpentry and joinery works packages to support the redevelopment of one of the two main buildings on this site.
