Rainsford Contracts has been appointed as Principal Contractor and Construction Manager to lead a major refurbishment programme for the historic Dukes London in Mayfair, London.
APPROACH
The multi-million pound refurbishment programme will involve strip out, MEP works, new lifts, and full modernisation for its front and back of house services. All 89-bedroom suites and bathrooms will be upgraded as will the Hotel’s lounge areas, gardens and the infamous Duke’s Bar. Dukes Bar will remain open to its many loyal customers throughout the refurbishment. Whilst the works will remain sympathetic to the hotel’s historical significance, improvements in energy performance and client facilities are a key component of the hotel’s upgrade.
