Regeneration of the City University London included significantly increasing the student accommodation offer with 805 beds arranged over a 13 storey tower and a 9 storey courtyard block, a 4 storey learning centre providing much needed additional teaching space and one of the largest sports facilities in Central London. This was designed and constructed to Sports England standards and 80% larger than the previous Saddler Centre it replaced.
OUTCOME
In the sports hall our work included the toilet cubicles, mirrors, raised timber floor and the marking out of the floor for the variety of sports.
We fitted access controlled locks to all the student apartments, glazed communal doors, fire curtains, entrance partitions and designed, built and installed the reception desk.
